DSS / DSR torque limiters are overload protection devices with either ball or roller transmission, which disengages fully at the pre-set peak torque. The torque is steplessly adjustable by altering the spring pressure.
Dertec stainless steel gearboxes have been designed specifically for washdown applications, which make them perfect for the food industry.
A recent supply for the vegetable processing industry was perfect for our Dertec FV Series of stainless steel wormboxes, where the 316SS is electro polished, and the smooth design ensures no inadvertent retention of washdown liquid.
The range is factory equipped with synthetic H1 food grade grease, and output hollow shafts are also full stainless.
All Torque Transmissions stocks Dertec stainless steel gearboxes in Australia for immediate supply. For the FV Series of workboxes, standard ratios are between 7.5:1 to 100:1.
The range also includes optional stainless steel open and closed shaft covers for added hygiene, as well as torque arms and footplates that employ an easy to clean hygienic design.
At All Torque, one of our greatest strengths is to come up with in-house answers to power transmission design problems, using a mixture of products which are often from different manufacturers.
Sometimes, there is only one answer to a problem.
When customers come to us with issues in power transmission, there are normally a few ways to solve the problem. Sometimes, there is only one way, although the one way may involve utilising disparate components.
Combining our own manufacturing and machining capabilities with standard product offerings, we arrive at solutions that are seldom available from a single-brand supplier.
Australia has a diverse history of mechanical power transmission equipment. A lot of it has come in from overseas on machinery and it is not supported in Australia, or even worse, is obsolete. We can consider the design requirements of the application and offer a suitable alternative.
All Torque Transmissions features heavily in the 2025 edition of the Bulk Handling Directory, from Australian Bulk Handling Review.
We are honoured to be the Australian representative for some of the world’s leading power transmission brands, and we are constantly working with them to develop new applications in all industries.

Company namesake racehorse ‘All Torque’ has won its maiden race, recording the honour at Race 1 at Pakenham on the 23rd of January.
A 3 year old gelding by Grunt out of the Zabeel mare, Reglisse, All Torque confounded the much-fancied opposition by securing a 3/4 length victory with a nicely timed move with 200 metres to go. At $18.00, All Torque’s win was also popular.
From one All Torque to another, we hope that the success continues as we follow our “flagship” competitor in the coming years.
