Mosaico by Bonfiglioli provides technical offices with constantly-updated 2D/3D drawings and technical specifications over the internet.
The Mosaico service gives users on-line assistance to support them with product configuration, as well as:
Mosaico acts as both a pre-sales tool and a further after-sales support feature from Bonfiglioli, who understand that suppling the original product is not the end of the customer-supplier relationship. At All Torque, we have worked extensively with Bonfiglioli in the use of Mosaico, both for new designs and to find alternatives to existing equipment.
Bonfiglioli has worked tirelessly to ensure that the entire program remains free to download and use, only requiring registration.
To access Mosaico, follow this link to the Bonfiglioli website, where you will be prompted to register. If you are in the technical or design sphere, we believe that it is well worth it.
All Torque Transmissions distributes Dodge conveyor components for the Australian market.
Dodge offers two standard designs that are stocked for quick delivery, CEMA duty (Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association), HE (High Endurance) welded hub and Mine Duty Extra HE integral hub construction. These are available with a plain surface and rubber lagged. HE bushings with 14 degree taper and 3/8″ 60 durometer SBR rubber, with herringbone groove lagging, are standard, stocked features.
One of the most popular services that Dodge offers us is to package and assemble pulleys, shaft, bearings and coupling halves for shipment, ready to install on the customer’s conveyor truss. However, in order to do this accurate shaft dimensions and tolerances must be available at the time of ordering. These determine the hub size of the pulley and the bearing size. In the US, bearings are shipped to the Clio facility from another Dodge plant, ready for assembly.
There are special construction specifications that can be stipulated by the customers to extend the service life of CEMA and Mine Duty Extra pulleys, for demanding applications, or to meet special job requirements. If these modifications are required, the products will become made to order and identified by product description. These non-standard modifications must be documented and quoted at the time of inquiry and before order entry.
These features include but are not limited to:

Once again, exports, production, new orders and employment all contracted, whilst input prices (thanks mostly to the wage pressure exerted by other industries) have remained worryingly high. On the other side of the same die, selling prices continue to contract.
As usual, we have a link to the official Performance of Manufacturing Index cover sheet, which can be accessed by clicking here… PMI April 2014
National Manufacturing Week 2014 (NMW) is being held at Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park on May 13-16.
Following the Hannover Messe model of individual product zones, NMW 2014 will utilize 15 specialist product zones.
It is the Engineering product zone that those involved in the mechanical power transmission industry will find the most interesting. A breakdown of Engineering product categories includes:
If you are involved with the manufacturing industry and would like to attend National Manufacturing Week 2014, you can follow this link to register for free.
National Manufacturing Week has thinned out a little as far as power transmission suppliers are concerned, with many preferring to spend their marketing budget at AIMEX every two years. However, NMW remains one of the premier networking opportunities as far as manufacturing is concerned.
At All Torque, we value the benefits that National Manufacturing Week offers.
