One of the easiest to install clutch / brakes on the market, the Bonfiglioli NFF series is renowned for both ease of use and value for money. Designed to fit between an electric motor and mechanical gearhead, the NFF range includes four distinct sizes, with flange sizes ranging from IEC63 to IEC112 in B5, as well as a B3 mount option.
The NFF series electromagnetic clutch / brakes are IP54 rated and completely enclosed. They feature a unique system of maintaining the magnetic air gap via a mechanical device, which basically means they are also maintenance-free.
Pricing of the range is extremely competitive, and we keep stocks at All Torque’s Braeside office.

In business, the marketplace is normally a good guide to things such as economic outlook and shifts in business sentiment.
So it was that nearly all Australian distributors of mechanical power transmission equipment voted with their feet earlier in the year, bypassing National Manufacturing Week in favour of the upcoming AIMEX, with its focus on the Australian mining industry. It is a major shift in outlook from all of the significant players, but was it a little premature?
Fresh from a flat Diggers and Dealers mining forum in Kalgoorlie where the locals tried to put on a brave face, the price of both metallurgical and thermal coal (and share price of coal producers) continues to plummet. Mining is softening across the board, and the days of major capital investment appear to be on hold, at least for the time being.
Australia’s mining sector has enjoyed a continuous, sustained boom, which has been good for some sectors but distorted the competitiveness of others. A correction is overdue and is probably even late in coming.
All Torque Transmissions will not be exhibiting at AIMEX 2013. Sure enough, our product range caters to the demands of the mining industry and some of our supply partners would like to have us there. However, we believe that our future lies with Australia’s diverse manufacturing sector. Manufacturing provides employment to one million Australians, and puts to good use the flow of new talent coming through every year. That is where we see the future of Australia.
To everyone both exhibiting and attending AIMEX 2013, we still hope that you have a good time.
You can follow AIMEX on twitter at https://twitter.com/AIMEX_Sydney and on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/aimexevent
A possible new product from any of our suppliers – but which one?
When we are retrospectively fitting a new geared motor as a replacement for a superseded unit, the occasional issue arises concerning fitment, foot print and shaft centre height. One of the good things about having our own fabrication facilities (and the skilled staff to get the best out of them) is that when these issues come up, we can engineer a solution.
Bespoke fabrication is more than simply using the “suck it and see” approach. At All Torque, we refer to the manufacturer’s drawings to determine the best way to make the replacement geared motor unit as flexible as possible, so that future units can be installed just as simply as the first.
After ensuring that the load characteristics are catered for, our design flexibility allows our entire product range to be purposed to fit nearly anywhere.
The people at All Torque Transmissions have come from various backgrounds, but there is one common theme in everyone’s past: mechanical power transmission.
A quick catalogue of the All Torque Transmissions pedigree reads like a who’s who of the Victorian power transmission sector. Names such as Victorian Transmissions, Reliance Automation, Gwenmax Bearings and Power Transmission, Reynolds Dynamics, Electric Motor & Geared Sales (EMGS), November Drives, Grey’s Industrial, Genat & Wood, Austral Engineering, Motion Industries, SEW-Eurodrive, Charles & Hunting, Flender and Bonfiglioli provide a rich background to the All Torque staff history.
Product knowledge is more than simply reading a catalogue when the enquiry comes through; it is total immersion in the products of our suppliers over a long period. This applies to everyone, from our internal salespeople right through to our sales engineers. Still, we are learning all the time and are continually excited by the new products coming through from Bonfiglioli, WEG, Baldor, Dodge, ComInTec and the entire spectrum of our supply chain.
Our knowledge of the power transmission industry enables us to source unconventional products, assist with the design of specialist equipment and handle the full spectrum of geared motor repairs. Don’t be afraid to put us to the test. We are power transmission people, after all!
