Vulkan Drive Tech

All Torque Transmissions has recently aligned with Vulkan Drive Tech, with a key focus on the Vulkan range of couplings.

Vulkan Couplings

The Vulkan range of products is high quality – in line with the standards that All Torque demands from our partners – and enhances our supply capability in ensuring the correct product is supplied for the application. As a range, Vulkan enhances what we can offer from a coupling standpoint.

Vulkan Range

The Vulkan range “enhances” the package that we make available to our important and varied client base, and gives us flexibility to engineer in the correct product that we believe is best suited to the application. This is something that we at All Torque are proud of.

Power Transmission Knowledge

Sometimes, a deep understanding of the industry – a power transmission knowledge base – is important.  In addition to our stable of world-leading power transmission brands, All Torque is able to offer problem solving and product selection for any industrial application.  Drawing upon the expertise both from within our company and directly from some of the most respected manufacturers in the world, we aim to provide the best solutions to your power transmission problems – in the most economical and time-efficient method.

Knowledge Base in the Industry

Our staff have the combined experience of over 200 years in the power transmission industry, with individuals having worked in a multitude of roles for power transmission manufacturers and importers, gearbox manufacturers, bearing companies and in the automotive manufacturing sector.

The staff at All Torque Transmissions may have come from various backgrounds, but there is one common theme in everyone’s past: mechanical power transmission.

A quick catalogue of the All Torque Transmissions pedigree reads like a who’s who of the Victorian power transmission sector.  Names such as Victorian Transmissions, Reliance Automation, Gwenmax Bearings and Power Transmission, Reynolds Dynamics, Electric Motor & Geared Sales (EMGS), November Drives, Grey’s Industrial, Genat & Wood, Austral Engineering, Motion Industries, SEW-Eurodrive, Charles & Hunting, Flender and Bonfiglioli provide a rich background to the All Torque staff history.

Product knowledge is more than simply reading a catalogue when the enquiry comes through; it is total immersion in the products of our suppliers over a long period, from everyone from our internal salespeople right through to our sales engineers.  Still, we are learning all the time and are continually excited by the new products coming through from Bonfiglioli, WEG, Baldor, Dodge, ComInTec and the entire spectrum of our supply chain.

We Are Open

As it stands, we are operating as per usual, subject to advice from state and federal governments. We are taking our COVID-19 obligations very seriously, and remain firmly focused and making sure that the requirements of our customers are always met.

COVID-19 Statement

To all our valued customers and suppliers,

The Coronavirus (COVID-19) is having a significant impact across Australia. At All Torque Transmissions we remain acutely aware of the impact this is having and may continue to have for the foreseeable future, for ourselves and our business colleagues. We are taking a position of ‘business as usual’, with our sales and supply branches still being attended, whilst keeping abreast of the evolving direction from various authorities.

As a company, we have the capacity to work remotely to ensure your interests continue to be looked after.

Naturally, the health and safety of our staff, customers, their families, and communities, is of the utmost importance and our number one priority.

We have undertaken steps within the company to eliminate non-essential travel and will continue to seek guidance form official government sources.

In our ability to manage the situation we will weigh in all such factors and recommended guidelines when making key decisions by implementing and enforcing the following practices:

  • All non-essential travel and on-site visits are now limited
  • Restricting face to face meetings and replacing with digital modes of communication to reduce possible transmissions
  • Following all recommendations from the Department of Health stringently. This includes social distancing, no handshaking, frequent hand washing, and increased sanitation of surfaces in our offices and warehouse facilities
  • Those that are concerned about their health condition to communicate openly to management and we are asking those to stay at home if they fall ill

We currently have no reported cases of illness relating to COVID-19 within the company.

We have in place a number of measures ready to be implemented for such an occurrence. We certainly hope this does not occur, but we must be vigilant and prepared in the event that it does.

Unfortunately, we are all experiencing unprecedented disruptions to our way of life – privately and in business, so we wish you well through these challenging times.

Yours sincerely,

Craig Mighell
